My Fav Books of the Summer

If you know me, you know I love to read. In the summer is when I do the most reading, finally having a bit of time to myself and not falling asleep after a couple of pages (let’s be honest). Here are my favourite books from this summer that I highly recommend.

🏀 Uncommon Favor by Dawn Staley. What a legend. If you’re looking for a book about team culture, resilience, and inspiration, read this. 

🔎 Mad Mabel by Sally Hepworth. This will tug at your heartstrings and you'll be cheering for Mabel the whole way. 

💪 Likeable Badass by Alison Fragale. I wish I had this book 15 years ago! Informative, practical, helpful reminders. If you are new or inspiring to be in a leadership role, give this a read.

🧙‍♀️ The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna. I listened to this on a roadtrip. It’s light, heartwarming, and a delightful read. 

🤝 The Culture Code by Daniel Coyle. I’m quite particular (re: critical) about leadership books because I want them to be actually helpful. This one exceeded my expectations and was both useful and a great read.

📖 The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett. So good! It’s long (I had to sign it out twice because I wasn’t able to finish it the first time), and completely worth it for the engaging story.
